PRESS RELEASE
While a simple observation that ‘food
doesn’t taste like it used to’ may prompt some eye-rolling from younger members
of the family, it is an undeniable truth. Not only does today’s processed,
genetically modified produce lack flavour, it lacks goodness too.

Of course, a generation ago we didn’t
have organic ranges and farmers’ markets – because all food was organic and
most of it came from local sources. It’s no coincidence that other things we
didn’t have included high levels of obesity, diabetes and fast food outlets.
The
older generation needs higher levels of nutrients to be able to fight
infections and stay fit and well. The government recommends eating no fewer
than five portions of fruit and vegetables every day, but for many this is
easier said than done.
A company called Envida has the exclusive UK distribution rights
to a health food supplement proven to be beneficial to the immune system and to
generally improve vitality and wellbeing.* Formerly available only from top
clinics, it can now be ordered direct.
This concentrated ‘juice’ called
features an impressive list
of bioactive ingredients. A daily dose provides more goodness than two portions
of organic fruit/vegetables, a probiotic drink and a handful of vitamin pills – with far more impressive results.
Made from the pressed juices of over
40 different ripe fruits, vegetables and herbs, all either farmed organically
or grown wild, it naturally contains a complex range of essential nutrients.
The ‘juice’ is produced and
concentrated using a patented process that naturally preserves the bioactivity
of the nutrients, while keeping packaging to a minimum. It is the only
supplement on the market classed as ‘functional food’.
Recent research has shown the
numerous benefits of increasing fruit and vegetable intake, containing the many
nutrients found in
:
• Plant-based foods improve
cardiovascular health by lowering blood pressure *2
• People who consume more than
five portions of fruit or vegetables a day have a 26 per cent reduction in
stroke compared with those who eat less than three portions daily *3
• Older adults can reduce the risk of
fracture related to falls by more than 20 per cent by ensuring they get enough vitamin
D. *4
• Modest increase in fruit and
vegetable consumption containing beta-cryptoxanthin (found in brightly coloured
fruit and veg) and vitamin C may well help to protect against inflammatory
joint disease, such as rheumatoid arthritis. *5
•
Antioxidant-boosting compounds, called sulphoraphane, found in broccoli
and other plants appear to block an enzyme that triggers inflammation in
joints. *6
A half-litre bottle of
delivers a 50-day
supply for an adult.
